Good ideas on what to do about a house fire. But what about a forest fire, or like Southern California, where they have terrible brush fires. First, DON”T BUILD A WOOD FENCE! DON”T BUILD A VINYL FENCE! They will burn or burn and melt adding to the problem.. Build a brick and mortar, or rock fence about 3 feet high instead. Rock and brick will absorb the heat and not burn. Ever think about putting a sprinkler system that points outwards, away from your property in case of an emergency? Keep you yard clear of dead and dying vegetation. I live in a forest fire prone area. I’ve replaced the mulch around my house with a rock garden. Easy to clean with a blower.
